6 DAYS OR 16 BILLION YEARS

Almost everyone has encountered someone who says they cannot believe in the Bible and that today’s science disproves many Biblical narratives. Nearly one third of Americans that are unaffiliated with any faith claim that “modern science proves that religion is superstition”, and nearly a quarter say that this is an “important reason” why they are no longer going to church. The statistics are even worse for Americans who were brought up in Christian families, 39% believe “modern science proves that religion is superstition” and 31% say it is an “important reason” they are no longer affiliated with a church. Then we send our children off to universities where 64% of the faculty in the natural sciences are either atheist or agnostic. 

This discussion will help equip those who have had children, friends, or even themselves answer the questions of science and Biblical truths.  The focus will be primarily on science and Genesis I and II, the story of creation.
